standing still is easy taking steps is hard

Hello, 

Let me just get into it:

1. I go to this salon in Southgate. The service is quite good, or maybe it is just run-of-the-mill stuff, just that we are used to terrible service. Anyway... I don't trust the owner one bit. I think he just plucks the prices out of thin air, and obviously, they are questionable. Go on then, 'miss pay people their worth'...not so open to paying the people when it is time to pay, huh??? But I paid about £145 for a wash, trim and some twists!!! My thing with them ends here... Orrr, next time I go, I'll ask for the price at the start. 

2. God bless all the brides who have had a wedding. What a lot of work, man...I wish this cup of suffering to pass me over...who even thinks about weddings thusly, let alone theirs??

3. I failed my last exam... back to the drawing board I go. So few are the grains of happiness... the world asks of us only the strength we have, and we give it... Then it asks for more, and we give it. I really do enjoy studying. It is my favourite pastime, I be feeling so enlighted and devoted to my vocation. I will hit the books again in November or sooner. 

Just thinking my life is soo the same... this could literally be from June 2024. 

4. The money is long though...my ST3 placement has a crazy rota and I'm on about £90K.. I hope I am not being overpaid. The first month with such a salary, I was lifestyle inflationing a lot...like a whole lot.  I am gonna calm down now, and maybe I can save an entire paycheck to bolster my end-of-year savings. See, it is not all that bad, I can comfortably pay for the resit 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I haven't got my tax refund though... Need to chase that up. 

Post script; 

- My sleep is soo good but so out of loop, talking sleep at 8pm and waking up around 4am, I have been enjoying the quiet mornings. 

- I really love time with my friends, they give me a new lease on life each time I see them...may they live long and be happy. 

- Sometimes you just need an audiobook to get you out of a rut, thank you sooo much, Libby. The Fellowship of the Ring is a masterpiece, truly. I want to embody the bravery of those hobbits, what valiant and honourworthy folk.
